Fresno, CA & Ada, OK – 8/25/09 – ShoWare^TM by VisionOne, Inc has officially launched the ticketing system for one of their newest clients, McSwain Theatre/Chickasaw Nation.

The Chickasaw Nation is a Native American nation that was one of the Five Civilized Tribes in the United States. The Five Civilized Tribes were differentiated from other Indian reservations in that they had semi-autonomous constitutional governments and delegates in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Chickasaw Nation was created after the Chickasaws were removed to Indian Territory in the 1830's.

The McSwain Theatre was established in the 1960’s and has transformed itself throughout the years to accommodate many different needs. Transforming from a movie theatre to a full perfomance theatre, the McSwain has hosted some of the nation’s leading country artists such as Blake Shelton and Jean Sheppard.

In 2002, after the death of the theatre owner, Chickasaw Nation purchased the theatre and took over management and renovations. Under the Chickasaw Nation ownership, the theatre has continued to provide top entertainment from around the country.
